The Way We Were Lyrics

scattered pictures of the smiles we left behind,
for the way we were. could it be that it was all so
simple then all this time we've written every night
and if I had the chance to do it all again,
would we could we memories may be beautiful and yes
lives to painful to remember we simply choose to forget so its the laughter
