The Werewolf Lyrics

Milwaukee man led a fairly decent life
Made a fairly decent living, had a fairly decent wife
She killed him. Ah, sushi knife
Now they're shopping for a fairly decent afterlifeThe werewolf is comingThe fact is most obits are mixed reviews
Life is a lottery, a lotta people lose
And the winners, the grinners with money-colored eyes
Eat all the nuggets, then they order extra friesThe werewolf is coming. (Extra fries)
The werewolf is coming.
The werewolf's coming,
the werewolf's coming,
yes, the werewolf is comingI hear her howling, prowling on the hills
The werewolf's coming, BillIgnorance and arrogance, a national debate
Put the fight in Vegas, that's a billion dollar gateRevenues, pay per views, it should be pretty healthy
The usual productions, and it all goes to the wealthyStill, the werewolf's coming
Eh, the werewolf's comingI'm not complaining, just the opposite my friend
I know it's raining, but we're coming to the end
Of the world, of the lyin' and the spyin' through
Oh, you don't know me?

OK, I don't know you, tooThe werewolf's coming. Werewolf's coming up
The werewolf's coming, and the The werewolf's coming
The werewolf is coming, tooI hear her howling, prowling on the hills
The werewolf's comingYou better stock up on water, canned goods off the shelves
And loot some for the old folks who can't loot for themselves
The doorbell's ringing, could be the elves
But it's probably the werewolf. It's quarter to twelve
And when it's midnight, and the wolf bitesIt's a full moon, she really got the appetite
The werewolf's coming
(The werewolf, the werewolf.)
The werewolf's coming
(The werewolf, the werewolf.)

Paul Frederic Simon (born October 13, 1941 in Newark, New Jersey) is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist. He first gained world-wide recognition as the writing talent behind the popular American folk-rock duo Simon & Garfunkel formed with fellow musician Art Garfunkel. When Simon & Garfunkel split in 1970, Simon quickly began his solo career with the release of the self-titled album, Paul Simon. This was followed by There Goes Rhymin' Simon and Still Crazy After All These Years, both of which featured chart-topping hits such as Loves Me Like A Rock and Kodachrome. In 1986 Simon released the immensely popular Graceland, which featured the groundbreaking use of African rhythms and performers Ladysmith Black Mambazo. In 1990, he followed up Graceland with the successor album The Rhythm of the Saints which featured Brazilian and Cajun musical themes. These albums helped to popularize world music as a genre.

He co-wrote the unsuccessful, but critically-acclaimed musical The Capeman with Nobel-winning poet Derek Walcott in 1997. His most recent album, Surprise, was produced by Brian Eno.

Paul Simon still tours occasionally, both as a solo artist and with his old musical partner Art Garfunkel. He is married to Edie Brickell.

In 1994 Paul Simon held 14 sold out concerts in Nantes (France) with International professional fusion players: Nino Manore (Italy), Francis Mc Gowan (UK), Gissele Masarde (France), Nikša Sviličić (Croatia), and others.
