The Whitest Lie Lyrics

If I lied, said I was fine, would that mean anything?
The more you know, the less you eventually find out
Back in school they never said the world was split up into sides
And they called them those who kill and those who dieAnd if living is a vice, I wish you no virtue
What could go wrong?Hold me close tonight, say that it's alright, even if it's not.
Of all the lies I've told in my life,
To promise I would never lead you on,
Would be the whitest one.
With providence would recommend you come out to anything
With uneasy lies, the head that wears the crown
And to which lobby is it's craft, is if you have to choose a pill
If you haven't learned that yet my friend, you willAnd if living is a vice, I wish you no virtue
What could go wrong?Hold me close tonight, say that it's alright, even if it's not.
Of all the lies I've told in my life,
To promise I would never lead you on,
Would be the whitest one.Be honest, cause heaven knows if I fail at this I'd probably fail at anything.
And my head is spins, sing about lot a darker
Nobody was listening

Hold me close tonight, say that it's alright, even if it's not.
Of all the lies I've told in my life,
To promise I would never lead you on,
Would be the whitest one.

Formed in October of 2000, Bayside consisted of four musicians looking for a chance to play music the rest of their lives. They recorded a demo and the band began playing shows around Long Island, NY. They quickly caught the eye of Brooklyn, New York's Dying Wish Records, who released their first EP, "Long Stories Short", featuring the songs "Foot Impressions", "Days Of My Life", "Red Head VS. The Pretty Red Bracelet", "Downtime", "Ask For It", and "Advance Letter Goodbye".
