The World Is on Fire Lyrics

There's an empty playground
With a bird on the swing
Has an eye for the departed
She loves the fallen king
The eyes that shine from the bedding
The neck that holds their head high
I think I'm spinning out of my heart
It's such a fitting way to dieSo much [?] lives in the winter
It's not as brutal as man
The hole keeps getting deeper
The ropes are easier to find
Well you don't have to say you're sorry
'Cause we can never turn back
No time to say farewell
Before we bid too much blood
And as the world is on fire
I hear songs with no words
Well in the grand scheme of things

It's just a dot in the universe
And as the world is on fire
I am deeply immersed
And in the grand scheme of things
It's just a dot in the universeWe fell asleep under the ice
They took the past and stayed awake
You'll find the truth in the past
And be burned at the stake
Gagged and bound by the prophets
And dragged kicking through the streets
The point in [?] to the future
Now we truly are free
And as the world is on fire
I hear songs with no words
Well in the grand scheme of things
It's just a dot in the universe
And as the world is on fire
I am deeply immersed
In the grand scheme of things
It's just a dot in the universe
It's just a dot in the universe
