Them Lyrics

And the band marches on and on and on without slowing
And their leader leads them on and on and on without knowingNever looking back to see the mess that they had left behind
And the media mediates between the masses and the myth it creates
But it never knows the damage grows the more it bends the truthThey tell us what they want us to hear
They patronize our aching earsIt's all too clear the wealths of violence and sexual perversion
Offer more than just some innocent psychological diversion
They have left so many bleeding, needing help from Christ the KingWe don't have to watch what they want us to see
Yet we've let them bind our hands and feetHow can you say, let's all remain unaffected?
When no lines were drawn, the band just marches on
And they forget you when you fall downThey tell us what they want us to hear
They patronize our aching ears
We don't have to watch what they want us to see
Yet we've let them bind our hands and feetHow can you say, let's all remain unaffected?
When no lines were drawn, the band just marches on
And they forget you when you fall downHow can you say, let's all remain unaffected?
When no lines were drawn, the band just marches on
And they forget you when you fall down

PFR

PFR is a Christian rock band from Motley, Minnesota comprised of singer/guitarist Joel Hanson, bassist/singer Patrick Andrew, and drummer Mark Nash. With influences like Crowded House, Jellyfish, and Oasis, they gained quite a following with just a few albums, starting with Pray For Rain in 1992, Goldie's Last Day in 1993, Great Lengths in 1994, & Them in 1996. They decided to split in 1997, releasing a best-of entitled The Late Great PFR (1997), which hosted a few new tracks along with some of their personal favorites.
