There's No Heart So Strong Lyrics

Maybe I didn't cry when you first told me a lie
Maybe I thought it would be a big mistake
I knew teardrops wouldn't help, so I kept them to myself
But there's no heart so strong it will not break
When I called you on the phone, found that you were not alone
You never knew it was hard for me to take'Cause I tried my best to hide the hurt I felt inside
There's no heart so strong it will not break
There's no heart so strong that it can hold its own
When loneliness is more than it can takeYou might admire my strength, but don't you ever, ever think
There's a heart so strong it will not break
If she ever lets you go then I'm sure that you will know
There's no heart so strong it will not break
There's no heart so strong it will not break

Tammy Wynette was born Virginia Wynette Pugh near Tremont, Mississippi, the only child of William Hollis Pugh (died February 13, 1943) and Mildred Faye Russell (1922–1991).
