Think It Over Lyrics

You've lost a very good man, hey
Think it over, baby
Is it what you wanna do oh, do oh?
Think it over before you leave meHey babe, I've been good to you
Say that you're packing up your bags
Say that you've guided love
And you're sick and tired, girl, of all my stuffSay you gonna leave me, well baby
You're gonna tell me you're sorry
But you didn't understandYou've lost a very good man, hey
Think it over, baby
Is it what you wanna do oh, do oh?
Think it over before you leave meHaven't I been good to you
I'm gonna cry when you're leaving
Hey, I guess I'll do the best I canYou've lost a very good man, hey
Think it over, baby
Is it what you wanna do oh, do oh?
Think it over before you leave meHaven't I been good to you
You're gonna tell me you're sorry

But you didn't understandYou've lost a very good man, hey
Think it over, baby
Is it what you wanna do oh, do oh?
Think it over, before you leave meWho can kiss you like I do, girl?
Just to tell me that you're sorry, I know it, baby
That you didn't understand, oh babyYou've lost a very good man, hey
Think it over, baby
Is it what you wanna do oh, do oh?
Think it over, before you leave meWho can love you like I do, oh?
I'm gonna cry when you're leaving, you know it, girl
But I got to do the best I can, oh babyYou've lost a very good man, hey
Think it over, baby
Is it what you wanna do oh, do oh?

The Delfonics were the quintessential Philadelphia soul singing group, most popular in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Brothers William and Wilbert Hart formed the group with Richard Daniels, and Randy (Rudy) Cain in high school in the early 1960s. Richard Daniels one of the founding members would be drafted just before the groups first major success. Soon, they became known throughout the Philadelphia area, signing with Cameo Records. At Cameo, Stan Watson introduced them to the man who made them famous, producer Thom Bell, then working with Chubby Checker.
