This Is How We Roll Lyrics

When we rock the party
(When we rock the party, waa)
Ladies and gentlemen
(Ah)
We got Blackstreet in the house tonight
And they got a little thing to say to you
C'mon
(C'mon)
Ooo, this is how we roll
In case you didn't know
(Ah, ah)
Blackstreet is in control
When we rock the party
Woo, this is how we roll
In case you didn't know
(Ah, ah)
Blackstreet is in control
(Blackstreet is in control)

When we rock the party
(Rock the party)
Friday and the mood is right, for hanging all night
I wanna boo the party till the mornin' light
Jiggy down from head to toe, gotta represent you know
Step outside, in my ride, here we go
(Here we go)
Woo, this is how we roll
(Ah yeah)
In case you didn't know
Blackstreet is in control
(Blackstreet is in control)
When we rock the party
Woo, this is how we roll
In case you didn't know
(Didn't know)
Blackstreet is in control
(Blackstreet is in control)
When we rock the party
(Woo)
Ladies everywhere you look the party's off the hook
(Aah)
And everybody's doing their own thing and the party's going on
(There it goes)
Champagne and drinks are on the house, the amp we turn it up
No need to rush 'cause you know us, we're doing it all night long
(Hae eee)
Ooo, this is how we roll
(Woo, this is how we roll)
In case you didn't know
Blackstreet is in control
(Blackstreet is in control)
When we rock the party
Ooo, this is how we roll
(Oh yea)
(Come on)
In case you didn't know
(Just in case you didn't know)
Blackstreet is in control
(Woo ooh ohh)
What?
(Ah I need you)
(Say what, show)
(No diggy-b)
(Whaddya like?)
(Whaddya like?)
Blackstreet rocks the party
Ooo, this is how we roll
(Woo yea)
In case you didn't know
Blackstreet is in control
(Blackstreet is in control)
(Woo)
Ooo, this is how we roll
(This is how we rock the party)
In case you didn't know
(Yea)
Blackstreet is in control
(Woo ohh ohh yea)
Ooo, this is how we roll
(Ooo)
In case you didn't know
(Ah, ah)
Blackstreet is in control
(Ooo)
When we rock the party
(Woo yea, yea, yea)
Ooo, this is how we roll
(Ooo)
In case you didn't know
(In case you didn't know)
Blackstreet is in control
(Blackstreet is in control)
When we rock the party
(Woo)
Ooo, this is how we roll
(Whats up)
In case you didn't know
(Know)
(Whats up)
Blackstreet is in control
(Blackstreet can't stop)
When we rock the party
(Woo)
Ooo, this is how we roll
(Ah, ah)
(No, no, no)
In case you didn't know
(Come on)
(Oh no, no, no)
Blackstreet is in control
(Oh yes, yes yo)
When we rock the party
Woo this is how we roll
In case you didn't know
Blackstreet is in control
(No diggy-b)

Blackstreet was an American R&B group founded in 1994 by Teddy Riley, a New Jack Swing pioneer known for his work as a member of Guy. The band members were: Teddy Riley, Chauncey Hannibal, Eric Williams, and Terrell Philips (and formerly Joe Stonestreet, Levi Little, David Hollister, and Mark Middleton). Their debut album, Blackstreet, was a moderate success due to the singles "Booti Call" and "Before I Let You Go", both Top 40 hits ("Before" hit the Top 10). The follow-up, 1996's Another Level was a breakthrough success due to the top single "No Diggity" (with Dr. Dre), which was a #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in November 1996, and won the 1998 Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals, along with the Top 40 hit "Don't Leave Me". Another Level eventually went four times platinum in the United States and peaked at #3 on the Billboard chart. "No Diggity" is ranked at #91 on Rolling Stone and MTV: 100 Greatest Pop Songs, while Blackstreet comes in at #214 of the Top 500 Pop Artists of the Past 25 Years.

Blackstreet has also collaborated with Jay-Z on his single "The City is Mine". With the help of the Janet Jackson single "Girlfriend", Blackstreet finally had a top ten album with Finally. But personnel shifts wracked the group and contributed to the relative failure of Finally in 1999, and Blackstreet soon broke up. After rumors of legal action and a preemptive countersuit, the group re-banded and released Level II in 2003.

In 2006 They are part of New Jack Reunion Tour Line up.
