This Lonely Love (feat. Richard Butler) Lyrics

I broke down on 14th street, I could have been blind
And you could have been anywhere in the world but I saw you in my mind
In flashing colors in the middle of the night
Don't they say that in the darkness everything is black and whiteThis lonely love is all around, it's up in the air and underground
But without the touch of flesh and blood this is a lonely love
Ooh ooh, ooh ooh, ooh ooh, it's a lonely loveI found myself in Brooklyn, it was as real as a dream
Then I went back up to Boston with absolutely nothing but a feelingThis lonely love is all around, it's up in the air and underground
But without the touch of flesh and blood this is a lonely love
Ooh ooh, ooh ooh, ooh ooh, it's a lonely loveHow I wish I could escape the human things
Don't take me for a woman, I am only the song you singThis lonely love is all around, it's up in the air and underground
But without the touch of flesh and blood this is a lonely love
This lonely love is all around, it's up in the air and underground
But without the touch of flesh and blood this is a lonely love
Lonely love, lonely love, lonely love, this lonely love
