This Love's On Me Lyrics

Sittin' alone at a table for two
When she walked in
I was down on my second love
Swore I'd never do that againShe sat down beside me
And tried to explain
That two bad loves
Don't spoil the whole darn gameThe first love lies
The second lover hurts you deep inside
And now that you're free
This love's on meI thought my life was
At the end of its rope
Without true love
There could be no hopeThen she asked
If I would stay for the night
She said
"Everything's gonna be all right"The sun came up
The very next day
I knew what she meant

When I heard her sayThe first love lies
The second lover hurts you deep inside
Now that you're free
This love's on meShe sat down beside me
And tried to explain
That two bad loves
Don't spoil the whole darn gameThe first love lies
The second lover hurts you deep inside
Now that you're free
This love's on meThis love's on me
I'm gonna love away your misery
Soon you will see
This love's on meYeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeahThis love's on me
I'm gonna love away your misery
Now that you see
This love's on me

Alabama is a country music band from Fort Payne, Alabama that was started in 1969 but did not get a recording contract until 1977. Alabama began by singing for tips around Myrtle Beach before going on to sell millions of records. They were among the first successful country groups since the mid-1970s, thanks to their blend of contemporary and traditional country and southern rock. On July 4-93 they opened a $7-million, 2,200-seat theater, located in Barefoot Landing-Myrtle Beach South Carolina.

The members of Alabama are:

- Randy Owen (vocals and rhythm guitar)
- Teddy Gentry, (vocals and bass guitar)
- Jeff Cook (lead guitar, keyboards, bass guitar, fiddle, banjo, and mandolin)
- Mark Herndon (drums and percussion)

Along with the Oak Ridge Boys and the Statler Brothers, Alabama is recognized as having paved the way for today's top country groups, including Diamond Rio, Lonestar and Rascal Flatts.
