This Nelson Rockefeller Lyrics

You have been so good to me always
But it's a dirty world out there
The whole world knows it's so out there
But do I really have to let you down?Golden rings on his fingers
And golden bells in his handThis Nelson Rockefeller
Is all to be a never were
Do I detest him?
Yes of course I doHe not tunes he's not much fun
But look at all the things he's done
Brand new clothes everywhere
You've always been so good to me
Staying right by my sideHe strokes my hair
He pats my seat
He pets my Johnson when he leavesThis Nelson Rockefeller
Is all to be a never were
Do I detest him?
Yes of course I doHe works for the stock exchange
He's everything that we hate

But do I really have to let you down?He strokes my hair
He pats my seat
He pets my Johnson when he leaves
This Nelson Rockefeller
Is all to be a never were
Do I detest him?
Yes I doYou've always been so good to me
Staying right by my side

There are 2 bands with this name. 1. McCarthy were a British indie pop band, formed in Barking, East London in 1985 by schoolmates Malcolm Eden, Tim Gane, John Williamson and Gary Baker. They mixed a sweetly melodic style, dominated by Gane's 12-string guitar playing, with Eden's overtly political lyrics, often satirical in tone, which reflected the band's far left leanings. After a string of singles, including 'Red Sleeping Beauty' and 'Frans Hals', and a track on the NME c86 album, their debut album 'I Am A Wallet' was released in 1987 to much critical acclaim.
