This Old World Lyrics

This old world just stays the same
One man wants what the other man gained
One man's greedy, one man's not
You can't worship money and GodCain killed Abel, that was his brother
Now the sons of Abraham are still killin' each other
Come on children, can't you understand
Jesus washed away all the sins of manPray, pray
Time to love every man, woman and child
Pray, pray
Just forgive and let live for a little while, heyHey, I shake my head and wonder how much more
The bells are tolling in the streets of the world
What time is it, help me understand
Why is war in the heart of man?Children of Abraham, Hagar and Sara
Sing a new song, cheer the way for Heaven
Jesus, endless praise to Thee
People better get down on your kneesAnd pray, pray
Time to love every man, woman and child
Pray, pray

Just forgive and let live for a little whileHey, this old world still stays the same
One man wants what the other man's gained
One man's greedy, one man's not
You can't worship money and GodHey, this old world still stays the same
One man wants what the other man's gained
Now one man's greedy and one man's not
You can't worship your money and GodHey, hey
Hey, hey
Hey, hey
