Through the Darkest Dark and Brightest Bright Lyrics

Through the trials,
And the gaps in the tree
From what once was a seed,
To what we've grown to beThrough the trials,
And the gaps in the tree
From what once was a seed,
To what we've grown to be
Traveled miles,
Across the oceans and seas
Nothing's out of our reach,
Living positivelyWhoa, whoa
This is our song to remember,
Whoa, whoa
All the places we have been
Remember every dream, the things we said
Our hope will never end (Remember every word we said)
Whoa, whoa
This is our song to rememberThrough the darkest dark

And the brightest bright,
We walked this path together
Through the hardest parts
Of all our lives (all our lives)
We carried one anotherHeads high, arms locked,
We move on
Keeping close to where we began
Open eyes, don't stop,
We stay strong
Tracing back to where our roots grew inWhoa, whoa
This is our song to remember,
Whoa, whoa
All the places we have been
Remember every dream, the things we said
Our hope will never end (Remember every word we said)
Whoa, whoa
This is our song to rememberThis is our song to remember
This is our song to rememberNever stopped moving forward,
Never forgot what we're made for
Always changing, but always true
A tree stands strong, but not without it's rootsNever stopped moving forward,
Never forgot what we're made for
Always changing, but always true
A tree stands strong, but not without it's rootsWhoa, whoa
This is our song to remember,
Whoa, whoa
All the places we have been
Remember every dream, the things we said
Our hope will never end (Remember every word we said)
Whoa, whoa
This is our song to rememberThis is our song to remember
This is our song to remember

We Came As Romans is a post hardcore band formed in 2005. Hailing from Troy, Michigan, We Came As Romans are pushing the envelope, combining influences such as the intertwined singing/screaming vocals of Underoath, the theatrical, orchestra-infused metal of Chiodos, the crushing breakdowns of The Devil Wears Prada and the positive lyrics of August Burns Red on their debut Equal Vision release, To Plant a Seed. Their second album, Understanding What We've Grown to Be, released in September 2011 featured a darker tone than their previous album while still maintaining the band's overall theme of positivity and brotherhood.

Signed to Equal Vision Records (announced April 16th) after being named Alternative Press’ “Best Unsigned Band” early 2009.

Members:
Dave Stephens – Vocals
Kyle Pavone – Vocals/Synth
Joshua Moore - Guitar
Lou Cotton – Guitar
Andy Glass – Bass
Eric J. Choi – Drums
