Time Lyrics

Do you believe in the sands of time
To bring it back in reverse, rewind
Yes, I believe in the sands of time
'Cause now they got me feelin' like the world is mineIs there a need in life for something clearer
A sudden urge to reach beyond the mirror
I'll (be) there when the darkness of the year
I'm sure invades in the place we came to fearSo we were once from a world divine
Now we proceed toward the end of time
As we were once in a place sublime
Now we will see the final tideDo you believe in the sands of time
To bring it back in reverse, rewind
Yes, I believe in the sands of time
'Cause now they got me feelin' like the world is mineOr could it be the time for something real
Another one of the forces that we feel
As you destroy the world we safely weildSo we were once from a world divine
Now we proceed toward the end of time
As we were once in a place sublime
Now we will see the final tideDo you believe in the sands of time

To bring it back in reverse, rewind
Yes, I believe in the sands of time
'Cause now they got me feelin' like the world is mineDo you believe in the Hand of Time
Do you believe that it makes the things go 'round
With intent to increase the mind no doubt
Waves spread the love throughoutWere we born to make an engine loud
Or were we brought here to die

History---
Deadsy was formed in 1995 by Elijah Blue Allman, the son of Cher and Greg Allman. Using the stage name Philips Exeter Blue I he recorded some demos with Alec Puro and later sent a Roland Juno-106 keyboard to Renn as an invitation to join the band. Deadsy signed to Sire Records, recruiting Jay Gordon of the band Orgy, to play bass their eponymous debut album. After the album was recorded and released to the press Gordon was replaced by Craig Riker joined on bass as a full time member, and they were once again writing songs for the upcoming full length Commencement.
