Time Marches On Lyrics

I feel it's a mystery
And I know what it's for
It's really around this
Why don't we
Just take it on?
These days are now wasted
But we still remain
And it reminds me that it's especially late...
Will you surrender?
This good thing we have...
Lookin' behind us...
Is lookin in vain...
These days surround us now
But we can take hold
They think since you've seen it once, yeah
That you've seen it all...
Will you surrender?
This good this that we had...

As time marches on us
We're livin too fast...
Will you surrender?
These days lead to hours...
These hours to days...
I'm watchin behind this
'Cause it's just slippin' away...
Will you surrender?
This good thing we have?
As time marches on us
We're livin too fast...
Will you surrender?
Will you surrender?
Will you surrender?
Will you surrender?
Will you surrender?
Will you surrender?
Will you surrender?
Will you surrender?

Wipers were a punk rock group formed in Portland, Oregon, United States in 1977 by guitarist Greg Sage, drummer Sam Henry and bassist Dave Koupal. Prehaps best known for the iconic early 80s album Is This Real?, Wipers were one of the earliest American purveyors of the genre, and the group's tight song structure and use of heavy distortion has been hailed as extremely influential by numerous critics and musicians (including Nirvana, who covered several of their songs), laying the groundwork for the evolution of modern alternative rock from punk.
