Time Pirate Lyrics

You go on and on all day, you won't let me go
Talking about people and places only you would know
Time pirate, you rob me of my day
I'd rather walk the plank than hear what else you have to say
My friends have all gone home, but you're still going strong
Seems like you've missed the message that taught that stealing is wrong
Time pirate, I'm walking to the door
I just can't listen to you talk about yourself no more
I was just being polite; you don't make any sense
My eyes are rolling back in my head now, so unaware and so intense
Time pirate, you rob me of my day
I'd rather walk the plank than hear what else you have to say
I don't think that I can hear another thing about your band
It's depressing and you're testing any patience that I have
Time pirate

The band's four-person, seven-layer-burrito came together organically: Lelah Maupin (drums) and Eric Randall (guitar) met in their native Longview, WA—two hours south of Seattle, the very town that Green Day named their breakout debut single after.
