ScholarMan is a Maryland based hip-hop artist and producer known for socially conscious and soulful music. His presence, message and lyrical style has been compared to the likes of lyricists Common, Black Thought, and Nas – his production style has been compared to the likes of Pete Rock, Large Professor, Diamond D, Hi-Tek, the late J Dilla and DJ Premier. He considers himself a student of hip-hop; an advocate, enthusiast and an emcee that shares his beliefs through his music.
