Time to Go Home Lyrics

I went out walking yesterday
To find my place in the sun.
I was told that there's leaves in the pavement,
But they've stolen every one.
Did you ever take the time
To look around you,
To find a place a shine?
Where you never have to worry
About who may be watching you?
Now I can see you
Walking home alone,
Drinking all that wine.
I know that somewhere,
There's a better way,
And I'll tell you when I've found mine.

I can remember...
Well, I thought that I could see...
It was easy, just you and me.
To think I thought we could be that way,
All the time.
Now I just sit here,
Watch you make all those faces,
And I'll tell you what.
Don't you think now that you can just tell me,
What it is I've done?
Don't just sit there wasting all that time,
Just tell me what is on your mind,
And ask me if I don't think it's time
To go home.
Don't you think it's time to go home?
