Timebomb Lyrics

Stop now
What's that sound
Everybody looks
What's going downI am a timebomb
A ticking ticking ticking timebomb
Unattended on the railway station
In the litter at the dance hall
Sitting pretty near the fast food counter
In the backseat of a vauxhallI am a timebomb
Stop now
What's that sound
Everybody looks
What's going downHear the ticking of your heartbeat beating
Hear the breaking of their promises
Heart the smashing of your expectations
Hear the shattering of half-rhymesI am a timebomb
Stop now
What's that sound

Everybody looks
What's going downAnd all the timebombs
They're all dancing to the same song
In a world full of nones
I am a someoneStop now
What's that sound
Everybody looks what's going down
Stop now, what's that sound
London bridge is going down

Chumbawamba are an English musical group formed in 1982 in the Leeds squatting community. They have, over a career spanning nearly three decades, played punk rock, pop-influenced music, world music, and folk music. Their vocal anarchist politics exhibit an irreverent attitude toward authority; the band have been forthright in their syndicalist, pacifist, communist, mutlicultural, and feminist social stances.

The band are best known for their song "Tubthumping." Other singles have included "Amnesia," "Enough Is Enough" (with MC Fusion), "Timebomb," "Top of the World (Ole, Ole, Ole)," and most recently, "Add Me."

On 7th July 2012 they announced their impending breakup before the end of the year.
