To Think I Used To Love You Lyrics

You made me laugh some, you made me cry some too
You sent me off into a world of pain and made me someone new
You made all kinds of promises but only some came true
Now I know you need me more than I need youTo think I used to love you for reasons I don't know
You polished up my halo and I dirtied up your soul
I sure had a good time but we both know I can't stay
To think I used to love you but I'm leaving anywayYou know I'm not perfect and I tried to make you see
Somehow you though of everything but you didn't think about me
Lies and disappointment makes your world go round
It's to late save me so you might as well come downTo think I used to love you for reasons I don't know
You polished up my halo and I dirtied up your soul
I sure had a good time but we both know I can't stay
To think I used to love you but I'm leaving anywayTo think I used to love you for reasons I don't know
You polished up my halo and I dirtied up your soul
I sure had a good time but we both know I can't stay
To think I used to love you but I'm leaving anyway
To think I used to love you but I'm leaving anyway

Uncle Kracker (born Matthew Shafer 9 November 1974 in Mount Clemens, Michigan) is an American rock and roll and country music musician.

He started out his career at a young age as a fledgling rapper. He met Kid Rock in 1987, and Rock asked Kracker to become his DJ. Kracker did not know how to work the turntables, but he soon learned how to, and he became a long-term friend and colleague of Rock.

Kracker worked with Kid Rock until he became a solo artist in 2000.

The My Hometown Songfacts reports that Kracker recorded Postcards From Home over seven weeks in early 2011. The album title was inspired by his hectic life on the road after his successful Happy Hour longplayer.
