Today More Than Any Other Day Lyrics

Advisory - the following lyrics contain explicit language:
We're sinking deeper
We feel like
We're sinking deeper
We feel like
We're sinking deeper
And sinking deeper
And sinking deeper, uhh
And sinking deeper, uhh
And sinking deeper, uh
And sinking deeper

And sinking deeper
And sinking deeper
And sinking deeper
And sinking deeperThe name of the song is today, more than any other day
Parts four through forty-three
So open up your textbooks, or a magazine, or a novel
Any kind of reading material will do
Okay, here we go: one, two, three -Well today, more than any other day
I am excited to feel the Milk of Human Kindness
And today, more than any other day
I am excited to go grocery shoppingAnd today, more than any other day
I am prepared to make the decision between 2% and whole milk
And today, more than any other day
I'm gonna look into the eyes of the old man across from me
On the train and say: hey, everything is gonna be okay!
YesWhat's that?dah-dah da dah
dah-dah, da dah-dah
dah-dah da dah
dah-dah, da dah-dah dah (x3)Does the radio play, but hey
It's okay, because today, more than any other day
I am the center of everything and it's playing just for me
And everything is gonna be okay
Together, today, together
Today, together, okay, togetherWe're all, all, all the fucking -
Well today, together, today, together
Today, together, today, togetherWe're all, all, all the fucking -
Well today, together, today, together
Today, together, today, together
We're all, all, all the fucking same

Ought is a band formed in Montreal, Canada. Guitarist and vocalist Tim Beeler, originally a folk musician hailing from New Hampshire, fell in with New Jersey native Matt May (keyboards) and Australian émigré Tim Keen (drums, violin) – the three of them began sharing an apartment that doubled as practice space, where they were soon joined by Portland,OR transplant Ben Stidworthy on bass. Ought played its first show and recorded its first "New Calm EP" in the apartment's largest bedroom, in the summer of 2012.
