Tonight Lyrics

It's a brand new day
I can feel it change
It's like a million lights lied up
spelling out your name
It's a brand new start
I can feel your heart beat now
The fire never burned right out
there were always sparksNow that we're back again
see what we've got
I know what it is
I know what it's not
All that we ever had
ain't gone away
It still remains
it's hereTonight, tonight
Been waiting all my life
For tonight, and it's like
We never said goodbye

We don't need anything at all
Tonight you're mine, and I'm yoursI never stopped believing
it would've been easy to do
When every star falls out my sky
they still shine for you
So let's keep on driving on this open road
We know where it's gone
we know where it goes
And all that we ever had
ain't gone away
It still remains
it's hereTonight, tonight
Been waiting all my life
For tonight, and it's like
We never said goodbye
We don't need anything at all
Tonight you're mine, and I'm yoursYou're mine, I'm yours
You're mine, I'm yours
You're mine, I'm yours
You're mine, I'm yoursTonight, tonight
Been waiting all my life
For tonight, ohhhTonight, tonight
Been waiting all my life
For tonight, and it's like
We never said goodbye
We don't need anything at all
Tonight you're mine, and I'm yoursYou're mine, I'm yours
You're mine, I'm yours
You're mine, I'm yours
You're mine, I'm yours

The Shires, who formed in 2013, are a UK country pop duo composed of singer-songwriters Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes. They hail from Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. Ben sings vocals and plays guitar and Bedford native Crissie Rhodes shares lead vocals. The duo fittingly took the band name in order to maintain an English identity and take a small part of England back to America. "Shire" is the original term for what is usually known now as a English county.
