Too Close Lyrics

Gotta tell you baby
You've clowned up my life
Somethin' deep inside my mind
Tells me it don't feel rightI'm just getting wise
To that look in your eyes
'Cos you're too close
Way too close to meSomethin' happened
I could sure enough feel the change
Second time baby
In the way you call my nameYour insecurity
Showin' what I mean
'Cos you're too close
Way too close to meNow you know baby
That I love the life I live
And I'll always live the life I love
Yes, I'm the kind
That has to run around
And I ain't worried of being tied downIt's crazy, baby

But I need to be free
And the nearness of you
Is all set in meAin't it plain to see
That you're gettin' to be
Too close, way too close to me
Ain't it plain to see
That you're gettin' to be
Too close, way too close to meGonna powder my face
Put on leather and lace
Ain't gonna play it cheap
Before you get in too deep
I need my space
Gonna leave this placeDon't blame yourself
Could happen to anyone else
You're too close, baby
Too close to me
It's crazy, baby
But I need to be free
