Too Excited Lyrics

Advisory - the following lyrics contain explicit language:
You wanna call the shots
You talk the talk
You wanna ask for luck
And never lose your spotYou're going all the way
What a daily chore
You gotta walk the walk
You never walked beforeYou want all the cake
And push it in your mouth
Your gonna choke your throat
You better spit it outYou wanna play again

You wanna show some blood
Gonna flood Japan
And say it's all for love, yeahWell, I say, boo hoo
And I say, fuck youYou wanna rally up
You wanna push and shove
I don't give a shit
If I'm cool or notSo don't throw a fit
I'm not buying it
We don't want no one
To get too excitedRaise the stakes
I'm gonna call you out
I gonna burn this
Motherfuckin' party downBefore the clock
Strikes at midnight
Don't want no one
To get too excitedWell, I say, boo hoo
And I say, fuck you
Well, I say, boo hoo
And I say, fuck youWatch where you step
They're gonna push you down
If you slip, well, we won'tSay yeah, yeah
Say yeah, yeahThey're gonna hunt you down
Try to put their guns
To your head but we won'tSay yeah, yeah
Say yeah, yeahPoor little baby, sorry
You can't shake me down
Poor little baby, sorry
You can't shake me downWell, I say, boo hoo
And I say, fuck you
Well, I say, boo hoo
And I say, fuck you

Tilly and the Wall are an indie rock group which formed in Omaha, Nebraska, United States in 2001. The band consits of Derek Pressnall (vocals, guitar), his wife Jamie Pressnall (tap dancer), Neely Jenkins (vocals, bass), Kianna Alarid (vocals, recorder, bass) and Nick White (keyboards). The band has gained notoriety for having a tap dancer provide percussion instead of a drummer (although drums and drum machines are occasionally used on some of their recordings, and Pressnall is usually complemented by Alarid and Jenkins stomping on the floor).
