Too Far to Fall Lyrics

Oh no, it's you again crashing on the door
Don't think I'll rebuttal once again
I don't know why you keep coming back for more
With someone I use to call a friend
I'm not so crossed the way with half the things you say
It doesn't work you anymore
I see you farther, farther down on your kneesCause you've gone too far to fall
Yes, you got too far to fall
I stay up all night just to listen to the news
Again and again and time and time again
But all I ever get are old mess kind of news
This time, it's got to be the end
You shouldn't shout about it, the way you do
It doesn't make any sense at all
There's no doubt about it, no doubt at allCause you've gone too far to fall
Yes, you got too far to fallYou've never felt quite the fall
Too far, too far to fallYou shouldn't shout about it, the way you do
It doesn't make any sense at all

There's no doubt about it, no doubt at all
Cause you've gone too far to fall
Yes, you got too far to fall
Yes, you got too far to fall
Yes, you got too far to fall

There are more than one band with the name The Professionals 1. The Professionals were formed in 1979 by guitarist Steve Jones and drummer Paul Cook, both formerly of the Sex Pistols. In the previous year Johnny Rotten had left the Sex Pistols, and Jones had supplied lead vocals for late Sex Pistols recordings of the songs "Silly Thing" and "Lonely Boy". For these recordings Lightning Raiders bassist Andy Allen was employed as a session musician.
