Too Much Into Nothing Lyrics

I'd love to get inside your head and let's be blunt
There are other words that rhyme as well
But that's just the way I am
Understand that I am underneath your spellAm I reading too much into the way you touch me?
When you brush by, it's much too much
Am I reading too much into nothing?I know all the codes and signs, yours and mine
I read the words between your lines
Who knows what you'll do next?
I'll reflect anything you choose to shineAm I reading too much into the way you touch me?
When you brush by, it's much too much
Am I reading too much into nothing?Am I reading too much into the things you do?
And do they mean the same to you?
Am I reading too much into nothing?Am I thinking too hard about the things you say?
A glance can last me one whole day
Am I reading too much into the way you touch me?When you brush by, it's much too much
Am I reading too much into nothing?
Am I reading too much into the way you touch me?

John Wesley Harding (b. 22 October 1965) is a folk/pop singer-songwriter who has called his style of music "folk noir" and "gangsta folk". He was born Wesley Stace in Hastings, East Sussex, England. His given name, Wesley, comes from John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, who preached one of his last sermons in the town where Harding was born. His stage name may be seen as an almost inevitable nickname for a folk-pop musician, in that his first name overlaps with the Bob Dylan album (and song) "John Wesley Harding".
