Too Much Texas Lyrics

Well, the last time she was seen, she was tearin' down Interstate 20
Headin' God knows where, her long blond hair blowin' in the wind
I guess I said some things, I don't know what got in me but I have to
Find her fast, while there's still a chance to win her back againBut there's too much Texas and not enough time to find her
Before I lose my mind or before she finds somebody new
I've been from Amarillo to Del Rio, I hope she hasn't crossed that line
There's just too much Texas and not enough timeShe said she didn't care where she and her Chevy were goin'
She could be kickin' up dust or fallin' in love in a thousand one-horse towns
Well, I've looked everywhere, Lord it's killin' me not knowin'
Gotta find that girl, tell her she's my world before another sun goes downBut there's too much Texas and not enough time to find her
Before I lose my mind or before she finds somebody new
I've been from Amarillo to Del Rio, I hope she hasn't crossed that line
There's just too much Texas and not enough time
There's just too much Texas and not enough time
