Touch Me When We're Dancing Lyrics

Play us a song we can slow dance on
We wanna hold each other
Play us a groove so we hardly move
Just let our hearts be togetherOh baby 'cause it feels so good
When we're close like this
Whisper in my ear
And let me steal a kissCome on touch me when we're dancing
You know you've got that lovin' touch
Oh touch me when we're dancing
I wanna feel you when I'm fallin' in loveTonight's the night and it feels so right
What my heart's saying to me
You're the one and I've waited so long
So let your love flow through meOh baby 'cause it feels so good
We can be this close
You've got me up so high
I could fly coast to coastCome on and touch me when we're dancing
You know you've got that lovin' touch
Oh touch me when we're dancing

I wanna feel you when I'm fallin' in loveOh touch me when we're dancing
You know you've got that lovin' touch
Oh touch me when we're dancing
I wanna feel you when I'm fallin'
Feel you when I'm fallin' in love, babyTouch me when we're dancing
You know you've got that lovin' touch
Touch me when we're dancing
I wanna feel you when I'm fallin', touchAll day and all of the night
Touch me when we're dancing
I wanna feel you when I'm fallin'
Got to feel you when I'm fallin' in loveTouch me when we're dancing
Touch me when we're romancing
Touch me when we're dancing
Baby you've got the magic touch

Alabama is a country music band from Fort Payne, Alabama that was started in 1969 but did not get a recording contract until 1977. Alabama began by singing for tips around Myrtle Beach before going on to sell millions of records. They were among the first successful country groups since the mid-1970s, thanks to their blend of contemporary and traditional country and southern rock. On July 4-93 they opened a $7-million, 2,200-seat theater, located in Barefoot Landing-Myrtle Beach South Carolina.

The members of Alabama are:

- Randy Owen (vocals and rhythm guitar)
- Teddy Gentry, (vocals and bass guitar)
- Jeff Cook (lead guitar, keyboards, bass guitar, fiddle, banjo, and mandolin)
- Mark Herndon (drums and percussion)

Along with the Oak Ridge Boys and the Statler Brothers, Alabama is recognized as having paved the way for today's top country groups, including Diamond Rio, Lonestar and Rascal Flatts.
