Toxic Girl (Monte Carlo 1963 Version) Lyrics

In the sky the birds are pullin' rain
In your life a curse has got a name
Makes you lay awake all through the night
That's whyShe's intoxicated by herself
Everyday she's seen with someone else
And every night she kisses someone new
Never youYou're waitin' in the shadows for a chance
'Cause you believe at heart, that if you can
Show to her what love is all about
She'll changeShe'll talk to you with no one else around
But only if you're able to entertain her
The moment conversation stops, she's gone
AgainShe's [Incomprehensible] heart, that if you can
She'll change at heart, if you can
But the moment conversation stops she's gone
Again

Kings of Convenience are a music duo formed in Bergen, Norway, playing a style that features acoustic instrumental playing and their two voices. The band consists of Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe. They met as children at a geography competition. They are known for their delicate tunes, calming voices, and intricately subtle guitar melodies. After first earning notice thanks to a series of acclaimed European festival appearances during the summer of 1999, the twosome signed to American label Kindercore to issue their lovely eponymous debut the following spring.
