Tracers Lyrics

Walking in the dark
Now you can't make it back
(Oooh)
Winds agains the rocks
and you can't find the map
(Oooh)
Nothing left to hold now
Nothing left to hold you back
(Oooh)
Yesterday released you lose what you used to have
(Oooh)Watch how the weather goes
No signs to guide me home
I could feel the silhouette begin to spread across the nightWalking in the dark just waiting for the sunrise
(Sunrise)
Can't recall but I see the future in your eyes
(Your eyes)Silent like a light look for the other side
(Ohh, ohh)
Reach into the night

What are you going to find?
(Ooh, ohh)
Nothing left to hold now looking at the empty sky
(Ohh, ohh)
Yesterday released what's you got to leave behind
(Ohh, ohh)Watch how the weather goes
No signs to guide me home
But I could feel the silhouette begin to spread across the nightWalking in the dark just waiting for the sunrise
(Sunrise)
Can't recall but I see the future in your eyes
(Your eyes)(Ohh, ohhhhh) x5
(Ohh, Ohh Oh, Ohh)Watch how the weather goes
No signs to guide me home
But I could feel the silhouette begin to spread across the nightWalking in the dark now you can't get her back
(Ohh, ohh)
Waves against the rocks and you can't find the map
(Ohh, ohh)
Nothing left to hold now nothing left to hold you back
(Ohh, ohh)
Yesterday released you lose what you used to have
(Ohh, ohh)Walking in the dark just waiting for the sunrise
(Sunrise)
Can't recall but I see the future in your eyes
(Your eyes)Walking in the dark just waiting for the sunrise
(Sunrise)
Can't recall but I see the future in your eyes
(Your eyes)

Whether living four states away or four blocks away, Reese Donohue and Christopher Prudhomme have always used the Internet -- at first out of necessity, later out of preference -- to collaborate on their songwriting. Although the cousins grew up together in Lafayette, Louisiana, Donohue eventually moved to San Francisco, while Prudhomme stayed near New Orleans. The newfound distance between them forced the pair to start sending song ideas back and forth via e-mail, a virtual exchange that quickly spawned Painted Palms' first release...
