Edita, also known as Edith Shain Abdieski and Edita, (born 14 November 1984 in Bern) is a Swiss singer. In November 2010 she won the first season of the German version of X Factor. Biography Edita Abdieski grew up with four siblings in the Bernese Bümpliz district. Her father is from Struga in Macedonia, her mother from Ulcinj in Montenegro. The father died in 1992. She lives and works in Cologne.
