The Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1929 and was formerly known as the Czecho-Slovak Radio (CSR) Symphony Orchestra. The orchestra is managed by Slovak Radio which is the Slovak national public service radio broadcaster based in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.
