Train On Fire (Edit) Lyrics

Take this to the emperor
Tell him his dirty army is defeated
Tell him Im the last of soldiers
That stands todayAnd tell him he dont have to fear me
But I hold his wife and daughter in a basement
They dont need no light or food
From hands bloody from your tyrannyAnd tell my ma Im gonna be alright
And tell my pa Im gonna be alright
Tell my love were gonna have a lot of fun
Well sing, la, la, laThe day when he sees me
Hes gonna think that Im too young for revolution
But Ive got my future
Fighting his historySo tell him Im sorry
But if weve had enough of his ego
Theres gonna be blood
Old blood filling the streets of the nightAnd tell my son Im gonna be alright
And tell my mom Im gonna be alright
Tell my love were gonna have a lot of fun

Well sing, la, la, laAnd tell my ma Im gonna be alright
And tell my pa Im gonna be alright
Tell my love were gonna have a lot of fun
Just sing, la, la, laAnd tell the emperor Im gonna be alright
And tell the king Im gonna be alright
Tell my mom Im gonna be alright
Just sing, la, la, la, la, la, la, la

Mando Diao are a rock band from Borlänge, Sweden. According to the band, the name Mando Diao has no meaning at all, but rather appeared to band member Björn Dixgård in a dream. Their sound is influenced by The Animals and Oasis. The roots of Mando Diao date back to 1995 when Björn Dixgård was a member of a band called Butler. Band members came and went; four years later, the remaining line-up chose to proceed more seriously in their musical efforts. Björn Dixgård and Gustaf Norén locked themselves up in a summer house and spent six months writing songs.
