Travelling Man Lyrics

Travelling man... Such secrets to be told.
Alien man... Running from the days of old.
Out of his world, with nothing left to lose.
Travelling man... Coming down to rescue you. You're hard to find, Timelord...
Too busy saving everything to stop. The Travelling Man will save the day.
The Travelling Man will keep you safe.
Even if he has to die five hundred and seven times,
The Travelling Man will save the day.Waiting so long for something to reprove.
Gallifrey man, all this tragic history.
Such a sharp mind, but broken are his hearts.
Engines in gear, time to put things in the past. There comes a time, Timelord,
When every boy must learn how to dance. The Travelling Man will save the day.
The Travelling Man will keep you safe.
Even if he has to die five hundred and seven times,
The Travelling Man will save the day.Everybody knows that everybody dies,
But nobody knows it like him.
I think all the lights would drain out of the skies
If he ever gave up trying.Just this once, everybody lives. The Travelling Man will save the day.

The Travelling Man will keep you safe.
Even if he has to die five hundred and seven times,
The Travelling Man will save the day.

In August 2008, Alex Day searched the web for “Time Lord Rock” - a subsection of music he thought would exist to celebrate the TV show Doctor Who - but got no results. Shortening the term to ‘Trock’, he introduced the concept to his YouTube viewers, launching the music with a self-penned song called An Awful Lot Of Running (inspired by the words of Jenny at the end of the 2008 episode ‘The Doctor’s Daughter’).

Charlie McDonnell was quickly approached to form a band as he had written his own song which would fit perfectly into the ‘Trock’ concept; Blink, a song about the 2007 Who episode of the same name. Liam Dryden and Chris Beattie opted in too, and the line-up was complete. Alex aimed to work on having 10 tracks for a self-titled album written by September 1st, which the guys achieved a day early, and at the end of September the band started recording with their (first) producer NSG for a 2009 release. You can buy their debut album Chameleon Circuit at dftba.com, or through iTunes and amazon.

On January 23rd, 2011, it was officially announced through twitter that Eddplant would be replacing Chris.
On July 18th, 2011, it was officially confirmed that Michael Aranda is also now considered official member of the band.

New album Still Got Legs was released 12 July 2011.
