Treveller's Digest Lyrics

Caught a bus up at the equator
To watch some French kids says "croissant"
Look out at the specific girls
And how they toy with the little server girlsThe forgotten names
The games we play
The love we makeSo get some local colour, buy some local art
And bring your backstory like you've always played the part
You're running over lines like you're speaking from the heart
So get some local colour, buy some local art
And bring your backstory like you've always played the part
You're running over lines like you're speaking from the heartNow I'm getting by on one meal a day
I said it's just enough to soothe my aches
Can't sell my soul for an ounce of shame
Sit and think about the future
Is like saying prayers at your own wakeThe forgotten names
That Moriarty wander
That Hepburn gazeSo get some local colour, buy some local art
And bring your backstory like you've always played the part

You're running over lines like you're speaking from the heart
So get some local colour, buy some local art
And bring your backstory like you've always played you're part
You're running over lines like you're speaking from the heart, the heart

Library Voices is a ten piece pop collective formed in 2008 from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Blending tremolo soaked guitars with analog synths, vintage organs, circuit bent electronics, accordion, saxophone, and glockenspiel, their songs play out like an AM radio jingle; mixing the best of the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and today. Since forming in spring of 2008, the group has operated at a feverish pace, recording a 3 song demo, recording and releasing a 6 song ep, and are currently in the studio recording a full length follow up.
