La Mar is an instrumental rock (post-rock post-metal) band from Caracas, Venezuela, formed in 2009. The band has, so far, published a selftitled studio album on 2012 and a second album titled "Tides", on July 20, 2014. As the band's main influences, Mastodon, Pink Floyd, This Will Destroy You, Explosions In The Sky and Tool, stand out as the most remarkable.
