Trouble Lyrics

I said people
You should have listened
To your mother
Cause she told you now
The world is full of trouble
But hold on
To your dreams
Dont let
Them slip from your hands
Into anotherThe world is full of trouble
The world is full of trouble. So now people
You need to help one another
Cause blame dont matter now
When your families
In trouble
Get on up
Dont let your worries
Keep you down

Cause tomorrow
Tomorrows only hours from now.The world is full of trouble
The world is full of trouble.Dont need no hate
Dont need no fear
Dont need no AIDS
Dont need no anti queerWe got to love one anotherWe got to get it together
We need love, love love love
Listen to your mother
Cause you know
The world the world the world is
Full of trouble.

She also lends her vocals to the works of other artists, most notably former Deee-Lite producer Towa Tei ("Luv Connection"), and Brooklyn Funk Essentials. After releasing The World is Full of Trouble (1994) and her self-titled second album Joi Cardwell with Eightball Records in 1995, Cardwell left the label and released her third album Deliverance on NoMad Records in 1999.
