Trouble With Goodbye Lyrics

I got trouble, trouble
I got trouble with goodbye now
I got trouble, trouble
I gotI got trouble, trouble
I got trouble with goodbye now
I got trouble, troubleIt ain't working, don't take no genius to see
It's hurting more every day goin' through the motions, ain't we?
And it's too sad for me
Once we were true lovers feeling the heatOh, but I can't say the word we have to say
Don't ask me why, let's just saySee ya round, gotta go, sayonara, adios, arrivederci
Au revoir, auf wiedersehen, ciao bella, never change
Oh, mercy mercy, don't make me cry
I got trouble with goodbye, yeahDont explain it away 'cause, it just ain't my thing
All this articulating
It's just a little heartbreak why make it more than it seems
I'd much rather get back to dreamin' my dreamsSee cause I've been thinkin' we'll meet again someday
But until we do, let's just saySee ya round, gotta go, sayonara, adios, arrivederci
Au revoir, auf wiedersehen, ciao bella, never change

Oh, mercy mercy, don't make me cry
I got trouble with goodbyeLet's just say we tried
I got trouble with goodbyeWish I could be so free
Yeah, they take it so casually
Oh, but baby that's just not me, oh no, I've never been
And I will never be 'cause Ive gotI got trouble, babe
Oh, no, I don't really wanna go
Don't want to say the words
Don't wanna say goodbyeSee ya round, gotta go, sayonara, adios, arrivederci
Au revoir, auf wiedersehen, ciao bella, never change
Oh, mercy mercySee ya round, gotta go, sayonara, adios, arrivederci
Au revoir, auf wiedersehen, ciao bella, never change
Oh, mercy mercy, don't make me cry
I got trouble with goodbyeLet's just say we tried
I got trouble with goodbye
Please don't make me cry
I got trouble with goodbye

Rimes emerged with her first single, "Blue," when she was just thirteen years old in 1996. She is most recognized for her crossover hit "How Do I Live" which, according to the Billboard charts, is one of the most successful songs in American music history, spending 69 weeks on the charts, more than any other song in American history. While country singer Trisha Yearwood's version of the song won a Grammy in 1998, Rimes' version outsold Yearwood's by millions of copies.
