Try Me One More Time (Re-Recorded In Stereo) Lyrics

Yes I know I've been untrue and I have hurt you through and through
But please have a mercy on this heart of mine
Take me back and try me one more time
If my darling you could see just what your leaving's done to meYou'd know that love is still the tie that binds
Take me back and try me one more timeNow in my dreams I see your face it seems there's someone in my place
But does he know that you were once just mine
Take me back and try me one more time
If you just forgive me now I make it up to you somehowI promise ne'er again to be unkind
Oh take me back and try me one more time one more time

Ernest Dale Tubb (February 9, 1914 – September 6, 1984), nicknamed the Texas Troubadour, was an American singer and songwriter and one of the pioneers of country music. His biggest career hit song, "Walking the Floor Over You" (1941), marked the rise of the honky tonk style of music. In 1948, he was the first singer to record a hit version of "Blue Christmas", a song more commonly associated with Elvis Presley and his mid-1950s version.
