Tunnel Vision Lyrics

Tunnel vision came to me
Like erosion changes memory's
They all fell into the sea
Still haven't returnedWalkin' down Rhode island street
When the hippie man he waved to me
Throws two fingers in the sky
A peace sign for meAnd father I came home again
With two hands tied I'm a wounded man
Tell me am I making sense at allToo much love I gave away
Now I wonder what I'll do that day
Sparks fly high and change the way
I wanna beEndlessly I fell asleep
Behind the wheel I couldn't keep
My eyes ahead and center straight
On all that I knewAnd father I came home again
With two hands tied I'm a wounded man
Tell me am I making sense at all
You see I'm a fool and I'm a mess

I just drank too much
And it went to my head
See this mess and I could be a starI was thinkin' a minute
You might think I would get it
Father I
I was thinkin' a minute
I think I would get itFather I came home again
With two hands I'm a wounded man
Tell me am I making sense at all
You see I'm a fool and I'm a mess
I just drank too much
And it went to my head
See this mess and I could be a starI'm here to stay
I came home
I'm here to stay
I came home
I'm here to stay
I came home
I'm here to stay
I came home
I'm here to stay
I came home
I'm here to stay
I came home

While it’s common practice in rock bios to liken an act to something familiar, it’s hard to do that with San Diego’s We Shot The Moon. That’s because it’s virtually impossible to compare them to any other band out there…not for more than a track or two, at least. We Shot The Moon--led by former Waking Ashland frontman Jonathan Jones--is a piano-heavy indie rock five-piece that formed in the year 2007. On September 29, the band releases its infectious sophomore LP, A Silver Lining, the follow-up to 2008’s Fear and Love, on Minneapolis-based label Afternoon Records.
