Turning the Tide Lyrics

excuse me but I have my own opinions or don't I have the right to make up my own mind I don't like the way you question my decisions and I wont conform to the ways that you find you tell me you'll sell me p.c propaganda change my beliefs with a t-shirt just my size I don't need a teenage screaming emo band to tell me not to believe what their friends are calling lies turning the tide for the chosen few making me change my ways for something new don't point your finger at the things I do 'cause I'll point a different finger back at you why should I abide by straight edge alcoholics or take advice from a vegan carnivore I defy you sideways backwards twisted logic and the moronic rantings of a suicidal hotline virgin whore no I'm not gonna listen anymore

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

The Teen Idols were a pop punk band based in Nashville, Tennessee. The band was formed in 1992 and quickly gained local popularity while playing at venues such as Lucy's Record Shop and receiving frequent airplay on Nashville college radio. During the mid-90s, they released several EPs under the local indie label, House O' Pain. In 1996, the Nashville Music Association nominated the band for their Independent Artist of the Year award. A year later, the Teen Idols released their first full-length album under the indie label Honest Don's Records.
