Two Faced People Lyrics

You sat at my table and eat
Just like you were my brother
I could never ever believe
You were just a back-stabberYou wish me luck in front of my face
And evil when my back is turned
It's a part of your mind
So I left you to time
You will pay for your crimeTwo faced people
How wicked you are
Two faced people
You'll never get farYou led me to think you're my friend
When you were my enemy
You take my kindness for weakness
My weakness for grantedYou wish me good in front of my face
And bad when my back is turned
But I'll pay you no mind
I just left you to time
You will pay for your crimesTwo faced people

How wicked you are
Two faced people
You'll never get farTwo faced people
How wicked you are
Two faced people
You'll never get farYou led me to think you're my friend
When you were my enemy
You take my kindness for weakness
My weakness for grantedYou wish me good in front of my face
And bad when my back is turned
But I left you to time
I'll pay you no mind
You will pay for your crimesTwo faced people
How wicked you are
Two faced people
You'll never get far

Max Romeo (born Maxwell Livingston Smith, 22 November 1947, St. D'Acre, St. Ann, Jamaica), is a reggae and roots reggae recording artist who has achieved chart success in his home country, and in the UK. The singer who put the rude in rude boy, Max Romeo was responsible for launching an entirely new sub-genre of reggae, whose overtly suggestive lyrics caused an outcry but took a massive hold of the music scene regardless.
