Two Hands Lyrics

Well I got two hands, I wanna clap my hands together
I got two legs, I wanna dance to heavens door
I got one heart, I'm gonna fill it up with up Jesus
And I ain't gonna think about trouble anymoreWell now, this old world sometimes it does get lonesome
And it's many a grown man has hung his head and cried
Look down in your soul theres one that won't desert you
Ain't it fine to have the Saviour by your sideWell I got two hands, I wanna clap my hands together
I got two legs, I wanna dance to heavens door
I got one heart, I want to fill it up with up Jesus
And I ain't gonna think about trouble anymoreNow the Lord resides inside a house of golden
And faith is the door and love is the key
And warm is the light pouring from His mighty windows
And that light, my friend, it shines on you and meWell I got two hands, I wanna clap my hands together
I got two legs, I wanna dance to heavens door
I got one heart, I'm gonna fill it up with up Jesus
And I ain't gonna think about trouble anymoreBut when the wind blows on that faithful morning
And I close my eyes, Lord, and fly my body home
Well I don't want my friends to cry no tears about me

I'll be bathing in the glory of the throneWell I got two hands, I wanna clap my hands together
I got two legs, I wanna dance to heavens door
I got one heart, I want to fill it up with up Jesus
And I ain't gonna think about trouble anymore

Townes Van Zandt (John Townes Van Zandt, born at Fort Worth, Texas, March 7, 1944 and died at Smyrna, Tennessee, January 1, 1997). He was a country and folk singer and poet. While alive, Van Zandt was labelled as a cult musician. Though he had a small and devoted fanbase, he never had a successful album or single, and even had difficulty keeping his recordings in print. Many of his songs, including "If I Needed You," "To Live Is To Fly," and "No Place to Fall" are considered standards of their genre. AllMusic has called him "one of the greatest country and folk artists of his generation."
