Two Lives Worth of Reckoning Lyrics

It's is just the way it starts the way it feels
The mission will trying to find the need
What makes to another for the way it goes
The facts to a making are turning goldOne by one they set to fall
So distinguished alarming to go through it all
Forging to something that wasn't meant
To be in the shadow of make believeRun down
You try to make me
Run down
The struggle within meI give it away and now I am so tired
There is nothing more left to find
I'll be wanting to change
Two lives worth of reckoningIt hurts to be blind
And how I've been fading lives
I've been growing to pick my side
And it let me be me for the reckoningIt's just the way I need to plant that seed
Will tear down for nothing will channel our greed
All I'm asking for is to reach the point

Where I won't dwell on resentful timesRun down
You try to make me
Run down
The struggle within me
Oh, rightI give it away and now I am so tired
There is nothing more left to find
I'll be wanting to change
Two lives worth of reckoningIt hurts to be blind
And how I've been fading lives
I've been growing to pick my side
And it let me be me for the reckoningWhen I see the grateful day
The hours in me from the start to the threshold
It'll be the greatest slay
The force I will turn will shift to burnI'm holding on and you'll stick with that
Releasing the kill, replacing courage by will
It will be the sweetest relief, the struggle may fade
And the air I would breatheI give it away and now I am so tired
There is nothing more left to find
I'll be wanting to change
Two lives worth of reckoningIt hurts to be blind
And how I've been fading lives
I've been growing to pick my side
And it let me be me for the reckoning

Soilwork is a swedish melodic death metal band formed in late 1995, originally under the name Inferior Breed in Helsingborg, Sweden. In 1996, they changed their name to Soilwork to better fit their new sound. Their unique sound is a fusion of the classic gothenburg metal sound with power-groove riffs of late 1970s, early 1980s British, and European metal, but in their most recent albums they have also introduced elements from American alternative metal and adopted a more melodic attitude.
