Under My Skin Lyrics

I got the feeling you bout to rock me, (rock me)
I feel you takin over, (yeh)
Mj to dizzee, wiley to missy
You know you got me under.
And there's no way but to let you in,
Nothing can stop once it begins,
Music under my skin, music under my skin
Don't know where to begin how did it get so deep within,
Its like I know I'm gonna crash but I still drive crazy.
Tonight belongs to you and i, and you know its wahat I like.
So feel the music dripping out your mind.
I got the feeling you bout to rock me,
I feel you taking over, mj to dizzy wiley to missy,
You know you got me under, and there's no way but to let you in,
Nothin can stop it once it begins,
Music under my skin, music under my skin.
I cant let it go turn it off its gotta hold
Like a poison to my lips, but I still keep drinking.

Its in you that I can find, a remedy from 6 till 9,
Just feel the music dripping out your mind.
I got the feeling you bout to rock me (rock me),
I feel you takin over (takin over),
Mj to dizzy, wiley to missy
You know you got me under,
There's no way but to let you in, nothing can stop it once you begin.
Music under my skin (under my skin),
Music under my skin,
Music under my skin (under my),
Music under.
Couldn't take it (no)
Couldn't take it,
What would you do if the music don't play (dont play),
Gotta have it, gotta have it
My world was sad if you took it away,
Broken in, broken in 2,
I'ma nothin without you (nothin),
? what I ow it, everything everything.
[Instrumental]I got the feeling you bout to rock me,
I feel you takin over
Mj to dizzy, wiley to missy
You know you got me under,
I got the feeling you bout to rock me (rock me),
I feel you takin over (takin over),
Mj to dizzy , wiley to missy
You know you got me under (got me under).
I got the feeling you bout to rock me (rock me),
I feel you takin over (takin over),
Mj to dizzy, wiley to missy
I know you got me under (missy),
I've got the feeling (feelin) you bout to rock me (rock me),
Mj to dizzy, wiley to missy, (missy)
I know you got me under,
And there's no way but to let you in,
Nothing can stop it once it begins.
Music under my skin (under my skin),
Music under my skin.

Virginia "Gin" Wigmore is a New Zealand singer/songwriter who was born in Auckland, New Zealand, where she spent most of her childhood. However, while in Argentina at age 16 her father died of cancer. Upon her return to New Zealand, she articulated in song, the pain of losing her father. One of those early penned songs, “Hallelujah”, won the US-based International Songwriting Competition in 2004[2], when she beat 11,000 songwriting aspirants from 77 countries to become the youngest and only unsigned Grand Prize winner in the history of the ISC. "Hallelujah" was also featured in the season 6 finale of One Tree Hill.

Extended Play was Wigmore's first EP. It was produced by Tony Buchen (Blue King Brown, The Whitlams, Macromantics, Kid Confucius) and contains the tracks "Hallelujah", "These Roses", "SOS", "Under My Skin", and "Easy Come Easy Go". Released in 2008, it has peaked at number ten in the New Zealand charts. The EP was certified Gold in New Zealand on June 7, 2009, selling over 7,500 copies.[4]

Extended Play was released in Australia on 2 August 2008 by Island Records. Wigmore was the first artist signed with Island Records, a partner company with Universal Music Group, Australia[3].

The EP features renowned Australian musician John Butler on ukulele on Wigmore's song "SOS".[3]

Wigmore toured with Australian artist, Pete Murray, on his national tour in August/September 2008. Wigmore toured in 2008, including at the Cross Town Revue in Auckland, New Zealand, and in December 2008, toured with musicians John Mellencamp and Sheryl Crow in New Zealand.

Wigmore's sister, Lucy Wigmore, played Justine Jones in the long running New Zealand soap opera Shortland Street.

Recent work has seen her featured in the song and video of the new group, Smashproof, also from Auckland, New Zealand. The song, "Brother", was released in early 2009.
