Under the Stars (Labyrinth Ear Remix) Lyrics

You know you look so tired
Youre gonna stay up late tonight
Under the stars
Ill put you in pride of placeIm gonna set my sights
Im gonna set your soul alight
Under the stars
Under the starsSo let the street lights shine away
Till the breaking of the day
In the morning youll decay a littleWeve led a lifetime come undone
Staring straight into the sun
Like the barrel of a gun
Under the stars
Under the starsBeen waiting my whole life
For you to come and waste a while
Out in the dark
In the emptiness of time and spaceBeen going out my mind
I gotta bring you back to life
You and your heart

You and your heavy heartSo let the street lights shine away
Till the breaking of the day
In the morning youll decay a littleWeve led a lifetime come undone
Staring straight into the sun
Like the barrel of a gun
Under the stars
Under the starsYou know you look so tired
Youre gonna stay up late tonight
Under the stars
Under the stars
Under the starsUnder the stars
Under the starsSo let the street lights shine away
Till the breaking of the day
For tonight all of the saints are sinnersYeah I can feel we're coming up
Like our heart starts filling up
Like its rushing through our blood
Under the stars
Under the stars
Under the stars

It was Ian Brown who said, “It’s not where you’re from, it’s where you’re at.” But he said that after he’d already made it. What he didn’t realise is that for most people, they don’t make it out at all, and for those who do, what really leaves the impression is the journey. This is what Morning Parade have discovered. And for starters, Morning Parade are Steve Sparrow (vocals/guitar), Chad Thomas (guitar), Phil Titus (bass), Ben Giddings (synth) and Andy Hayes (drums). And they’re set to be among the most exciting breakout guitar bands of 2011.
