Undercover Lyrics

Stunned, shoulder on
You're stunned, shoulder on you
Get what you had to borrow
All it cost was some sorrow
Go right where you are
You say that it's not that far
I know where you can get it
I can see that you need it
Let's go so you can taste it now
You can blame all the others
For your fake undercover
Let's go so you can take it now
Stunned, rolled around
You're running from the crowd
You wait for the things to happen
It's just an automatic
Shy, you're seeing through
You got photos of me next to you

I know where you can get it
I can see that you need it
Let's go so you can taste it now
You can blame all the others
For your fake undercover
Let's go so you can take it now
Go where you are
[Incomprehensible][Incomprehensible]Stunned, shoulder on
You're running from the crowd
This is just the beginning
And you just think it's ending
Go right instantly
You stay and are let in for free
I know where you can get it
I can see that you need it
Let's go so you can taste it now
You can blame all the others
For your fake undercover
Let's go so you can take it now
Alright

Grinspoon are an Australian post-grunge band (formerly alternative metal) from Lismore, Australia, formed in 1995 by Phil Jamieson (vocals), Pat Davern (guitar), Joe Hansen (bass), and Kristian Hopes (drums). They gained fame when they were Unearthed by national commercial-free radio station Triple J with their track Sickfest.

The band was heavily influenced by grunge and alternative metal music in their early career, and developed a strong following among mosh pit crowds. Their sound changed to a more mainstream rock sound with their 2004 release Thrills, Kills & Sunday Pills, which caused them to lose many of their earlier fans while at the same time gaining a lot of new ones.
