Unions and the Law Lyrics

Like Bob said the times are a changing
Unfortunately for us boss man's rearranging
Doesn't care about your wife and kids
But only the gold that is hisWon't hear eleventh hour underbids
Or part with the assets that he thinks are his
Only knows how to downsize
He'll see an increase by losing youNot even aware that his moral code has diedUnions and the law, what's wrong with being treated fairly
Unions and the law, we've got to defend ourselves somehowSociety's a much faster place now
Seems like protest lost out somehow
I once heard a composer sing
I can't stand up for falling downGot to rise up and be accounted for
Maybe that sentiment will arrive
Back in town but only time
Itself will reveal this conceptIn ending this rant we'll stay idealisticUnions and the law, what's wrong with being treated fairly
Unions and the law, we've got to defend ourselves somehow
Unions and the law, they got to come back stronger today
Unions and the law, we've got to defend ourselves somehowLike Bob said the times are a changing
Unfortunately for us boss man's rearranging

Doesn't care about your wife and kids
But only the gold that is hisUnions and the law, what's wrong with being treated fairly
Unions and the law, we've got to defend ourselves somehow
Unions and the law, they got to come back stronger today
Unions and the law, we've got to defend ourselves somehow

Street Dogs is a punk rock band hailing from Boston, Massachusetts. The lead singer is Mike McColgan, former lead singer of Dropkick Murphys. In 1998, McColgan left Dropkick Murphys, after releasing their first full-length record, Do or Die, to pursue a life-long dream of becoming a firefighter for the Boston Fire Department. Street Dogs formed in 2002 after McColgan decided he could no longer stay away from music.
