United Front Lyrics

The great depression everyone is in depression
No one knows exactly what's their role
Totally confused, depressed 'cuz of the news
Watch TV, more bad is what you seeEveryone's lost and were looking for a savior
Everyone's blind and were looking for a leader
We've lost our faith so we need someone to guide us
Right now, it's so easy to be deceivedI'm climbing my soul to reach to newer levels
Reach the mountain top so I can better see
Step back and see the whole mighty picture
Gain control of my destinyI'm climbing my soul so I can picture a solution
'Cuz once I picture this it can be
I cannot leave my life within this uncertainty
I call on the red, and the black and green
And the black and the greenUnited we stand, united we fall
United we plan as a united front
United we stand, united we fall
United we plan as a united frontI walk the streets and try to pass energy
Put the gun down, black man give me a pound

Save those rounds for a real confrontation
Understand who you are as a manEveryone's lost and were looking for a savior
Everyone's blind and were looking for a leader
We've lost our faith and we need someone to guide us
Right now, it's so easy to be deceivedI'm climbing my soul to reach to newer levels
Reach the mountain top so I can better see
Step back and see the whole mighty picture
Gain control of my destinyI'm climbing my soul so I can picture a solution
'Cuz once I picture this it can be
I cannot leave my life within this uncertainty
I call on the red and the black and green
And the black and the greenUnited we stand, united we fall
United we plan as a united front
United we stand, united we fall
United we plan as a united frontUnited we stand, united we fall
United we plan as a united front
United we stand, united we fall
United we plan as a united front

Arrested Development is an afrocentric hip-hop group, founded by Speech and Headliner as a positive, alternative to the gangsta rap popular in the early 1990s. It took the group three years, five months and two days to be offered a record deal. Hence the name of the first album was 3 Years, 5 Months & 2 Days in the Life Of..., which produced several hit tracks. These included "Tennessee", "People Everyday", and "Mr. Wendal", which hit the top ten. The group won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album and Best New Artist, and were also Band of the Year by Rolling Stone magazine.
