Unnoticed Lyrics

Did you ever hear of Carrie?
Mother of six, Angel to a thousand
You may have never seen her
But her actions spoke much louderShe changed this place
She changed this placeDid you ever meet a man named Joe?
Father to eight, giver to plenty more
He'd give you his very last dollar
When what he needed cost twoHe changed this place
Without you knowing his faceWe're so selfish, self seeking
We're so desperate to be number one
So unworthy of what's given
What are we doing here?Have you ever played the martyr
Only for the reason of a prize?
Can we ever give up trying
To be something in another's eyes? And change this place
We can change this placeWe're so selfish, self seeking
We're so desperate to be number one
So unworthy of what's given

What are we doing here? We're so selfish, self seeking
We're so desperate to be number one
So unworthy of what's given
What are we doing here?Unnoticed
Unnoticed
Unnoticed
UnnoticedWe're so selfish, self seeking
We're so desperate to be number one
So unworthy of what's given
What are we doing here? We're so selfish, self seeking
We're so desperate to be number one
So unworthy of what's given
What are we doing here?

Singer/songwriter Tiffany Arbuckle-Lee fronted the Dove Award-winning alternative rock band Plumb during the late '90s, and adopted the name Plumb for her subsequent full-fledged solo career. She was born in Indianapolis and grew up in Atlanta, where she took several gigs as a backup singer and wound up touring in that capacity instead of going to college, as she'd planned. She relocated to Nashville, where she landed a record deal based on her session and backup work, and formed Plumb with neighbor/songwriter/producer Matt Bronleewe.
